"I Gaze Into Your Eyes, Two Wells of Extinguished Life."
Grim, yet accurate description of what many see when beholding the visage of this globalist arch-enemy of Britain.
“I gaze into your eyes, two wells of extinguished life.”
That's a throwback to the early 1990’s; Swedish Death Metal band Entombed had just released their Magnum Opus, Clandestine.
For any fans of Death Metal out there (there might be a few that still remain), you may be familiar with that particular work. It was something I listened to a lot in the early 90’s. Back in the day. Seems a lifetime away now. The title of this piece is taken from the lyrics of the opening track to album, the name of the song is Living Dead. (Charming, I know.)
And for whatever reason, every time I see Keir Starmer, it just triggers that particular lyric from that particular song. I don't know what it is about Keir Starmer, but for sure there's something missing. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Those eyes of his are windows alright but I’m not seeing any soul when i look into them.
I don't know anything about him on a personal level, except what I've read, the reports that I see about him and the way that he operated (or didn’t) as the director of the Crown Prosecution Service, the type people that he represented, the cases that he did not pursue, his time as the “opposition” leader in Labour and now as the current Prime Minister.
Since he took office in July this year, his approval ratings have plummeted. In fact, that's an understatement. They're in free fall. I don't know anyone that has anything good to say about him. As a politician, as a leader, period. Nothing good to say. Not even Labour supporters.
I don't see them jumping to his defence when he gets maligned and attacked in the press or by his opponents. And those that would step forward in defence of Starmer will undoubtedly be the sycophants, career politicians and the yes men and women that he has surrounded himself with in his cabinet.
And it's hard to be inspired by his cabinet. Take Angela Rayner, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Housing. I don't know her as a person. I'm not judging her as a human. But as a Government Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, she strikes me as someone that is completely out of her depth. As do all of the Labour cabinet, by the way. Not just Starmer and the Deputy Prime Minister. They're all out of their depth.
Angela Rayner was seen at a nightclub during the summer, raving. The story goes she had a hard campaign leading up to Julys election and was burned out. Needed some down (or up) time. I understand that. We all need a break form time to time. But that break attracted a lot of negative press.
Personally, I thought she was in her element. She's best suited to be raving in a nightclub in Ibiza. That seems to be her natural habitat. Her natural habitat is not government, is not Westminster, is not as a Government Minister for Housing. Someone that last weekend was involved with several car crash interviews concerning housing. How there was a housing crisis one minute, then when pressed on the fact that the country is being swamped with illegal immigrants with nowhere to stay, went on to say, well, there's plenty of houses.
Then back again to say that migrants are needed to build houses. And there's no real problem. Flip flopping from one position to the next on a large media platform, for all the world to see, making a complete fool of herself. Look at Yvette Cooper, the Home Secretary. Yvette Cooper has no idea what she's doing. She's currently attempting to comment on the developing Syrian crisis. And when pressed about what exactly is happening, the stock response is, “Well, things are happening quickly on the ground. I can't possibly comment on that. I can't comment on this. I can't comment on that.”
When they don't know where they're at or they don't understand the situation that they're commenting on, the answer is, “Things are happening quickly on the ground. It would be wrong of me to comment on that.”
Her latest video address on the Home Office Twitter page, she looks like someone who's been taken hostage and is reading a script that her captors have put together concerning the situation in Syria. That's how it looks. The woman is again completely incompetent and out of her depth.
David Lammy, Foreign Secretary, is a national embarrassment. David Lammy should not be allowed anywhere near international politics, let alone domestic politics. And yet there he is, a lumbering, oafish buffoon acting as a spokesperson for Britain on the international stage. Ed Miliband, the energy net-zero minister, or whatever his official title is, again is someone who comes across as demented, trying to make videos that appeal to teenagers in the TikTok style, prancing around wind farms with a ukulele singing silly songs.
Is he demented? Is he crazy? Does he really believe what he's saying? Is it all an act? I don't know. But again, the man should not be in any position of power, especially a position that dictates how Britains energy security is determined. With the price of energy as it is today, with homes being squeezed, with disposable income being squeezed, we have Miliband trumpeting the future being green.
And that takes us to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves. Lying Rachel Reeves, who claimed multiple times over the years to be an economist for the Bank of England a claim that has since proven to be a lie. She lied on her CV. She's been lying about her credentials for years and yet, despite these lies being revealed, she's still in a job.
And not only is she still in a job as the Chancellor of the Exchequer, she's doing a terrible job. She's talking about the Tories, every other sentence. “It’s the Tories fault. We inherited this problem from the Tories. We need to fix what the damage the Tories have done.”
We understand that. We get that. But move on. Stop making excuses. When you constantly make excuses for the failures that you've inherited five to six months after you inherit them, you have to ask the question, is this person ever going to deliver any breakthrough change? And from what I've seen so far, the answer to that is a resounding no. To cut the winter fuel allowance for British pensioners, up to 10 million told that they may not get a winter fuel payment this year, potentially, to save money.
To save £1.5 billion from the public finances to plug the £22 billion black hole that the Tories had left. But yet, Starmer can pledge £3 billion a year plus, for as long as it takes to Ukraine; or send £11 billion to overseas climate change projects. And on and on and on it goes. The mathematics are not there. They don't add up. But then again, what do you expect from a chancellor who's a liar and not qualified to do the job? So looking at this motley crew that has been assembled together in the shape and form of the current British government, it's hard to be optimistic while they remain in place.
I'm not cynical. I'm not a doom-monger. I'm a realist. This government has to go, and it has to go soon, because I do not believe that Britain can weather five years of this governmental storm. And many people have commented to say that Britain has been through worse in the past. Tha’s a fair point. But Britain is being attacked by its own government as per right now. And not only are they being attacked, but the attacks are increasing in severity, they're increasing in ferocity, and we've only had this bunch of ghouls for less than six months, and they're getting progressively worse by the day.
They're progressing from bad to worse at an alarming rate of speed. So if they keep progressing like this, after one year, I shudder to think of the damage that will have been caused. After two years, it will be exponentially worse. Then after three, after four, up to five years? It doesn't even bear thinking about.
So for as long as there are ghouls and zombies at the helm of the government that is “running” Britain at this time, you will forgive me for making the comparison between Keir Starmer, what I see when I see Keir Starmer , and the lyrics from an old death metal song from the early 1990s.
“I gaze into your eyes, two wells of extinguished life.”
I fear that that will not just apply to Keir Starmers gaze by the end of Labour's term, should they make it to the end of their term; but it will also apply to a great many people going about their business trying to live life as best they can within Britain who have suffered at their globalist hands.
Bang on Rick, they also don't seem to know what genocide is.
