“Ireland's hate crime law high point of wokeism.” So says Senator Michael McDowell (who also served as Attorney General in Ireland between 1999 and 2002) who told the Irish Daily Mail this week that the Criminal Justice Hate Offences Act 2024 had brought the notion of gender into law through the back door and that's the modus operandi with globalists and people that are trying to pervert nations and societies; they bring things in incrementally. What Senator McDowell is highlighting here is that the notion of gender has been brought into law through the back door.
So under this particular act the hate speech act, gender is defined as “the gender of a person or the gender which a person expresses as the person's preferred gender or with which the person identifies and includes transgender and a gender other than those of male and female.”
Now try and make sense of that paragraph, just that one paragraph, try and read that back and try and make sense of it. You're either a male or you're a female, end of story. Senator McDowell described the wording to the newspaper as the high point of wokeism, he added it's bad law bringing in a concept that no one knows what it means and this is perfectly illustrated when any politician, any woke politician is questioned even the most basic question as to what a woman is; they fumble, they stutter, they pause, they deflect and they divert away from the question.
It is insanity and if we actually do manage to get through this period in history, people will look back and study it and say can you believe what they they pushed on children as being fact. In October last year, highlighting the expansive nature of the wording, Senator Sharon Keogan took almost 25 minutes to read a list of nearly a thousand genders that could be included; absolute madness and insanity of the highest order.
An analysis was done by the Christian Institute on earlier version of the Bill concluded that it risked impacting the ordinary work of churches and was strongly criticised. Director Kieran Kelly noted that simply reading aloud from, for example, Romans Chapter 1, it could have led to accusations that a person was using the Bible to stir up hatred against gay people.
He called on Christians to guard against laws that have a chilling effect on the free exchange of views and ideas. Being brutally honest though, the church has failed miserably over the last five years in particularly when it comes to standing up for people's rights, standing up for God's laws and standing up for the flocks or the congregations that they are supposed to be looking after. They have failed miserably; so whilst I'm glad to see some organisations taking a stand and speaking out more vocally against this than others, the silence of the church has been deafening for the last five years in particular. And I'm sad to say this but in many cases actually embracing the woke practices that they should be speaking out against. It's a shame and a disgrace.
Speaking of shame and disgrace, the health service in Ireland informed us that gender neutral toilets are installed in most new health care settings says the HSE. There should be men's toilets for men only there should be women's toilets for women only and then there are disabled toilets
.
An example cited was Our Ladies Hospital in Navan; (can you just see “our ladies” face if she was to watch a big man walking into a toilet block with little girls in it?) They have confirmed that there is a four cubicle gender neutral toilet facility in the recently refurbished outpatient department; these facilities are in place for people who do not conform to traditional gender norms.
Too bad if you don't conform to traditional gender norms; why should this nonsense be thrust upon the 99% of right-thinking people that are out there?
They also said the gender neutral toilets ensure “everyone can use hygienic and clean toilet facilities and hospitals and health care settings.”
Does that mean the ordinary toilets aren't hygienic, does that mean that the ordinary toilets are not clean does that mean that special attention and care will be given to these gender neutral toilets?
For a number of years schools have been allowed to choose whether toilet facilities will be gender neutral or not. My advice as a parent to any parents that are out there, if your child's school is considering putting in a gender neutral toilet in, or has one in place get that child out of that school ASAP or get every parent together, make them aware of this madness and boycott the school; Insist that your children will be de-registered. Crush their funding and let's see how sold out they are on woke.
Lastly, Dublin mum says “she feels she has more chance of winning the lotto than being housed.” Probably accurate, I think the chances of winning the lottery are about 10 million to one chances of getting a house as an Irish person in Ireland these days over somebody that's coming in from overseas is probably the same
.
Dublin mother of two Lorraine Ryan says that she is still waiting to be housed by Dublin City Council despite being on the housing list for 12 years; not 12 weeks, not 12 months, 12 years. She and her two daughters are unable to find suitable accommodation in Ireland. She had many promises of help from candidates in her area during the recent election canvassing sessions; but that all was to no avail. Surprise, surprise; a politician making a promise to a potential voter before an election and nothing happening afterwards. “They haven't been in touch to offer us anything,” she added that she applied for a house close to her current location but there are three other families in similar positions in front of her and she has a daughter called with mobility issues.
If the government wants something done badly enough, they'll get it done. They will pull out all the stops, they will cut through any red tape that they like; for example the IPAS “asylum seeker centres” that are being hastily constructed, walled off, concrete bollards and steel walls, flood lighting, security firms being bussed in, porta-cabins, modular homes being set in there to accommodate hundreds if not thousands of people at a time? Just like that, the money's there to provide for it and the manpower is magicked up to facilitate it; but when it comes to Irish homelessness, nothing.
So there you have it for this week, more madness in Ireland, a reflection of what’s happening in other parts of the world; but there are positive signs that the wheels will come off the woke juggernaut, let’s hope to see it completely crash and burn in 2025. Great rant Rick...totally agree...utter madness everywhere!! No men in women only spaces...and visa versa (although I'm not sure that's a thing!) And yes, money fir everything we don't want or need and not enough housing for indigenous and local people. Stop giving the thieves your money!
