Indeed. I actually preached at a funeral in Kenya once and that verse was the basis of the message. If ever there’s a time to reflect on life and death, it’s at a funeral…

Very well put Riick. Money seems to get thrown around but there never seems to be any vision. I live near Glasgow and it's criminal how the river in the city centre is wasted.

Or, in place of vision, a fantasy. That something will work now that has failed many times in the past; in a more challenging financial climate and a world that is slowly being dominated by online transactions. Debt is fuelling much spending nowadays. Including utility bills and emergency purchases. Numpties and dreamers are making the decisions on these ultimately ill fated exercises in squandering money. If it was their own money being spent, most of these schemes would never see the light of day.
