Nick Dunn is an ex-member of the British Army / Parachute Regiment having deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he was injured and narrowly avoided death following an anti tank mine explosion.

He became involved in overseas private security on leaving the Army, ultimately finding himself wrongly imprisoned in an Indian jail for 4 years along with another 5 men, collectively known as the ‘Chennai Six.’

In this conversation, Nick discussed his time in the Army, dealing with trauma, coping with life in a foreign prison having been wrongfully labelled as a terrorist and the challenges he faced (and still faces) on a day to day basis on returning home to the UK. Help for veterans and any non military personnel suffering from the effects of trauma is out there, Nicks overall message is one of perseverance and hope.

His book ‘Surviving Hell’ is available to order from Amazon and all good book retailers.
